Tokyo Sexwale Raises Questions About $10 2010 Payout
Tokyo Sexwale has raised questions as to whether the $10 payout to the Caribbean Football Union was used correctly.
This comes after Fifa was thrown into deep allegations of fraud and bribery. South Africa has been implicated as one of countries that paid bribery to host the 2010 World Cup.
Sports Minister, Fikile Mbalula, has rubbished claims that the money paid by South Africa was a bribe to win the bid.
Sexwale has raised questions about the payment. He asked as to whether the money was paid to the right people.
Hawks confirmed today that there is no formal investigation that will be instituted against SAFA officials.
